Before taking the Permit Exam, students must obtain a paper from the guidance office stating that the student has acceptable grades and attendance, according to state law. The parent must come to the guidance department and sign this paper in person. To schedule a time to do so, you may contact glenna.johnson@logan.kyschools.us or use the "Request Information" page on this site. The student may also stop by the guidance department to request that the form be prepared, but the parent will still need to sign it in person.
Permit papers require 24 hours notice for preparation.
