A Great Place to Learn

What is an ILP?

Students now have available to them a multipurpose tool to assist in transitioning and career development.  This new incentive is the Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and is available to all students, grades 6 through 12.  Upon graduation, students will have access to their ILP for five years, providing them with resources obtained during their tenture at Logan County High School.

In partnership with Career Cruising, the Commonwealth of Kentucky has developed this on-line tool to assist in a variety of ways from career selection to applying for scholarships and financial aid.  Career Cruising best defines this new tool:

"Students across Kentucky are required to complete an Individual Learning Plan (ILP). The Career Cruising ILP Tool is designed to help students bring together their academic achievements, extracurricular experiences, and career and education exploration activities. This enables the student, parents or guardians, teachers, and counselors to work together to develop a course of study that meets the student's needs and goals."
