Due to the 2007 General Assembly re-enacting the No Pass/No Drive law (H.B. 32), the state will now require 16 and 17 year olds to obtain a "School Enrollment Verification
Form" from the guidance office BEFORE they will be allowed to take the written and eye test for their permits.
The school enrollment form must still accompany the social security card, birth certificate, proof of applicants address and parent/guardian signature to be able to test for the learner's permit.
This law went into effect August 01, 2007 and applicants without the form will be denied the permit test.
